Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel is conveniently located in Pike Peak, Colorado Springs, in a quiet area. The service was a mix of quick check-in and occasional friendliness, though some staff members were a bit arrogant. The rooms were not very clean, with exposed wires and items left behind by previous guests, which was a bit off-putting. The breakfast was basic, and the facilities were average.
The hotel was surprisingly quiet on the back side facing away from the Interstate, but had multiple issues in the room such as smoke smell, burned spot on the blanket, peeling paint in the tub, and a loud, smoky bathroom. The price of $54 was not justified.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great for events at the Stargazers Theater and close to the OTC, which was essential for me. The rooms were not as comfortable as I had hoped, with broken items and even a press-on nail found. Despite some service mishaps, Audrey's assistance was wonderful. The dining options were subpar, consisting of just dry cereal and rubbery omelets, but the facilities were decent.
The hotel rooms are very nice, but there was an odor that could be mold or smoke, which was not great. On the positive side, the location is great for events at the Stargazers Theater, but being near a junkyard and a prostitute house is quite concerning.
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The location was central, making it easy to get around, but I had some concerns about the cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of service. The dining options were limited, and the facilities could use some updating, but the price was reasonable considering the central location.
I had a horrible experience at this hotel. The rooms were nice on my first day, but my second day turned into a nightmare when I had an allergic reaction to something in the room. The lady at the front desk was extremely inconsiderate and unhelpful; I had to check out early and seek medical help as my skin broke out in red welts. The condition of the room was appalling with old mattresses and carpet burn holes, making it clear that the room had not been properly maintained.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a chemical smell, and some areas were not as clean as expected. However, the service was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for events. The dining options were limited, but the affordability and location made up for it.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The overpowering smell in the rooms was a major downside that we couldn't shake off, making it feel like you get what you pay for here. On the positive side, the service from the overnight front desk woman was polite despite some unexpected interruptions. The central area location had its charm, although the surrounding area was not the best. The dining experience could use some improvements, with limited breakfast options, although the make-it-yourself Belgian waffles were a standout.
Although the hotel is centrally located in a quiet area, my stay was marred by issues in the rooms, poor service, and disappointing dining options. The broken furniture and unpleasant odors in the room made my experience less than ideal, while the rude service and lackluster breakfast further dampened my stay.
